My husband and I first met Heather and Hamilton a little over a a year ago from a class for newlywed couples at our church. I remember walking into class that first Sunday and being so nervous. We didn't know anyone, and we really had no idea how important the people sitting in that class with us would become to us. Shortly after starting that class, Heather and Hamilton invited us out after for Sunday brunch (my favorite). This is when we started to get to know them better.
These two met on a medical missions trip, and they really hit it off. With Heather living in Indiana and Hamilton living in Nebraska, they began a long-distance relationship. After dating for awhile, they got engaged. They actually got married on the exact same day as me and my husband (woohoo for Christmas time weddings). Shortly after getting married, they moved to Raleigh so Hamilton could attend medical school while Heather worked as a nurse.
Ya'll I can't begin to tell you how much these two mean to my husband and I. We have enjoyed many in depth conversations about newlywed life and the struggles that can come along with that. We are so very excited for them as they journey into parenthood and cannot wait to meet "Baby V".
