Today, another adorable pup is hitting the blog! Meet Flynn and his sweet parents Lindsay and Taylor! We have known them for a couple of years now. When we first started going to our church, they were in our ABF for newlyweds. Even though, they’ve been married a few years now, they still looks just as in love as ever! Enjoy a few of my favorites from their sweet session!
A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of meeting Courtney and her mother at the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh, NC for her bridal portraits session! Courtney's lace wedding dress and seersucker print Jack Roger sandals were perfect for her session. Her monogrammed wedding veil also complemented her ensemble! She also wanted to include her grandmother's and mother's wedding rings in the shoot. I love it when my TR Brides want to include family heirlooms into their wedding!
We had some cloudy weather for Courtney's bridal session and we even got caught in an unexpected summer shower, but this sweet bride didn't let that damper her session at all! Enjoy some of my favorites from her shoot!
This wedding was so special for me for many reasons! First of all, Sam is one of my very best friends. We met almost 9 years ago (wow, I feel OLD) during our freshman year of college. We have been through so much together over the years- pranks, shenanigans, breakups, falling in love with our now husbands. It's so cool that I was able to watch her relationship with her husband, Caleb from the beginning. They dated in college for a couple of years, then they broke up for a time. They reconnected at the end of last year, and shortly after, Caleb proposed!
Caleb had a grand plan to propose while they went to see Christmas lights. He had everything planned out perfectly, but when they got to the place. They were no longer taking visitors to see the lights. Discouraged, Sam and Caleb went back to the car. Caleb ended up proposing while Sam was sitting in the passenger seat of the car. Things never turn out the way we plan, but they always turn out the way they're supposed to.
This marriage has been years in the making, and I am so happy for Sam and Caleb! They were both glowing on their wedding day. I wish them all the love and happiness in the world!

When Christopher and I got in the car after Sam and Ariel's JC Raulston Arboretum engagement session in Raleigh, NC, we turned to one another and said ,"Their wedding is going to be SO much fun!" Seriously though, we cannot wait for their November wedding! These two were definitely meant for one another. Their banter during their session cracked Christopher and I up! Look at the way Sam looks at Ariel! Doesn't it make you swoon? And judging by these pictures, I'd say she is just as crazy about Sam!
Sam and Ariel knew each other before they started dating. Their wasn't really much romantic interest there- at least not on Ariel's end. A group of Ariel's friends (who were all coupled up) were going to go out on a Friday night after a week of college classes. Ariel wasn't thrilled about the idea of being a "third wheel" so she was planning to stay in that night. Her best friend was determined to not leave her in her dorm room by herself that night, and she told her " I will find SOMEONE for you to double with!" Well, that someone was Sam!
Life is so funny. Things always happen when you least expect them to, and this night was no different. Sam and Ariel really hit it off! When all the other couples conversations lulled, Sam and Ariel kept chattering away! They dated for about a year and a half when Sam decided to propose. He proposed at Duke Gardens in Durham, NC, and ,of course, Ariel said yes!
I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session!
