SOUTHPORT, NC ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY| PRESTON AND KALEIGH

Last weekend, Christopher and I got to venture to the Southport, NC area for Kaleigh and Preston’s engagement session. We had so much fun hanging out with them and their cute doggy— Mollie Petunia. I’ve never heard such a Southern name for a dog, but I absolutely adore it!

These two went on their first date 2 weeks after we met, Kaleigh came home from college on winter break and Preston didn’t want to wait a single day. So he took her out that night! They went a local Mexican restaurant and watched a new Christmas movie that had just came out. Preston met her mom and dad that night before they went out and her brother met him on the stairs outside before he even came in the house, needless to say Braxton liked Preston because he let him enter the Ragan residence!

Preston proposed at Fort Fisher NC, he completely surprised Kaleigh! They were going to Kure beach to spend the weekend with Preston’s granny and step grandfather (two of their favorite people in the world). They were driving them down in Granny’s 55 bel air. They spent our Saturday at a car show showing off the beautiful vintage car, and they came home to get ready for dinner. Everyone was getting in the car to go to dinner, and Preston mentioned that his granny wanted to go take some pictures at Forth Fisher. Preston drove them over to Fort Fisher and he took special care of where he parked which Kaleigh thought was interesting. Everyone climbed out of the car and started taking pictures ,and Preston was telling his granny what angle was best for the picture. Then he headed Kaleigh a note on notebook paper and said you will need this to start planning our wedding (it was of list of people he wanted to invite) and then he got down on one knee and asked Kaleigh to marry him!

These two both love the beach so we wanted to make sure to include that in their engagement session! Enjoy some of my favorites from the shoot below!

WRAL AZALEA GARDENS ENGAGEMENT SESSION| RALEIGH, NC EYAN AND MEGAN

We had a blast meeting up with Eyan and Megan during their WRAL Azalea Garden Engagement session in Raleigh, NC! I always visit the gardens in the spring and had no idea how beautiful they were in late summer. Even though the Raleigh sunflowers at Dorothea Dix Park were long gone, we were still able to snag a few shots with some lovely ones here! I went to high school with Megan and Eyan, and these two are actually high school sweethearts! I hope you enjoy some of my favorite images from their session below!
